Opened in 1787, Operakällaren is one of Sweden's most prestigious restaurants. Under Tore Wretman's management from 1955, Operakällaren became a renowned gastronomic institution that introduced new cooking techniques and made the restaurant internationally renowned. Today, the Michelin-starred restaurant is led by Emanuel Tärnqvist.
Operakällaren boasts one of Sweden's largest and most impressive wine cellars, Nobiskällaren, which includes around 2,500 labels from the most prominent wine producers worldwide. Nobiskällaren is especially known for its unique vintage verticals, offering a wine experience that cannot be found anywhere else.
