Operakällaren, which opened in 1787, is one of Sweden's most prestigious restaurants. Under Tore Wretman's leadership from 1955, Operakällaren became a renowned gastronomic institution that introduced new cooking techniques and gained international acclaim. Today, the Michelin-starred restaurant is led by Emanuel Tärnqvist.
Operakällaren boasts one of Sweden's largest and most impressive wine cellars, Nobiskällaren, comprising approximately 2500 labels from the most distinguished wine producers worldwide. Nobiskällaren is particularly known for its unique vintage verticals, offering a wine experience that cannot be found anywhere else.
